AGROMECH - Model SB-1,5 - Drum Dryer for Biomass (Formerly M-843)
From Biomass Processing Lines - Drum Dryers for Biomass
Functioning: material that is to be dried, goes using a conveyer and a chute down by gravity to the drying drum where the process of drying takes place. In the drum, the material is subjected to drying factor which is a composition of hot air and exhaust gases produced in the process of fuel combustion.

Rotary movement of the drum makes the dried material spread inside the drum and move to the outlet. Previously dried elements are pulled out by a stream of the drying factor, damp elements (heavier ones) are left in the drum for longer until they get appreciated dampness.
The dried material and the drying factor are sucked out from the drum by the main-centrifugal fan to the main-dedusting cyclone, where the drying factor becomes discharged to the atmosphere through the fan and the chimney.
The dried material falls to a cone-like part of the cyclone, and then, through a dispenser, is conveyed to a hammer cutter where it is cut. Material that does not need being cut is conveyed outside directly through the cyclone’s dispenser.
