Res - Self Sufficient Energy Storage Rystem
From Own Electricity Use
Self-sufficient power storage systems ensure the power supply without interruption in the event of a public grid failure and supply the household with energy, which is not possible with conventional storage systems. They are island-capable, i.e. they build up their own power grid without connection to a public electricity grid and are able to rise from it from the switch-off state (black starting ability). Our self-sufficient storage systems can be expanded with other components from res, AutarcTech and Victron, making them future-proof 48 V systems.
Product Details
Conventional PV / PVT systems and electricity storage systems are not ready for use in the event of a power outage, i.e. their own electricity, whether directly from the PV system or from the storage system, cannot be used!
Make your home regardless of the public power grid and high electricity prices – with a self-sufficient storage system
According to Michael Schirrle, Managing Director of res, energy should be produced and consumed on the spot – i.e. on the property. Further development in electricity storage systems enables self-contained energy storage systems that can be integrated into building energy systems from res.
These self-sufficient energy storage systems, whose core energy storage systems are from our partner AutarcTech, make completely independent of the public electricity grid and supply the budget with its own, climate-friendly and favourable electricity, even if the public grid fails – in contrast to conventional electricity storage systems, see above.
Emergency power capability: In the event of a power supply disturbance, the household can be supplied with electrical energy seamlessly from the power storage system thanks to the self-sufficient storage system:
Without interruption!Uninterruptible power supply (UPS): The power supply is uninterrupted in the event of a power failure without you noticing it. Thanks to a possible switchover in less than 20 milliseconds, even trouble-free operation of electronic devices such as computers is ensured!
Not only on lonely islands: completely without a power gridIsland capability: The self-sufficient storage system is able to build up its own power grid and thus supply the household. Without connection to a public power grid.
System start – without power gridBlack-starability: This refers to the ability of a stand-alone energy storage system to boot from the switched off state, regardless of a power grid. This is achieved by (at least partially) DC coupling.
Future-oriented because expandable:Thanks to the components from res, Victron and AutarcTech, the self-sufficient power storage system can be easily expanded with higher power requirements and is therefore a future-proof 48 V system.
Res-PV++ combined modules and conventional modules res-PV are used to generate the electricity (DC). The charge controller supplies the power to the storage system. If required, power is transmitted from the storage system to the multifunctional inverter and battery charger and discharger, where it is converted from direct to alternating current. The current collection rail contains DC backups, which monitors the status of the device fuses. The Dutch company Victron, which specialises in island systems, are from the Dutch company Victron, which specialises in stand-alone systems.
Info:PV modules generally generate direct current, which can also be stored in electricity storage systems. Since the electricity grid is operated with alternating current, an inverter must be interlocked between the solar system and the house network in order to convert the direct current into alternating current.
AC currentAC is the abbreviation for Alternating Current and the English name for AC. In Europe, the alternating current has a frequency of 50 Hz, i.e. 50 reversals of the charge carriers per second and is used for electricity connections in the household.
DCDC is the abbreviation for Direct Current and the English name for DC. Since the voltage source of the DC current is always polarated, the electric current flows severely in one direction.
