Sustainability
- Sulfur is an industrial byproduct – no harmful mining required. This drives material cost down to 0.20 EUR/kg (compared to state of the art cathode material NMC811 at 20.00 EUR/kg).
- Todays battery factories require lots of energy. Theion aims to save 90 % of energy at production.
- The crystal battery is designed for recyclability and thus easy, safe and cheap to recycle. Sustainability goes hand in hand with affordability.
Product safety – Theion’s Crystal Battery chemistry and production processes are designed for non flammability: Thermal runaway is impossible.
