Wrapping lines are free standing units that are incorporated into the system after baling. The bale is conveyed on to the wrapping machine where it is covered in a stretch polyethylene film. All baling lines cover the entire bale wrapping horizontally, vertically and across the diagonals. In order to maintain the shape of the bale the material needs to be applied across two axis. The rotowrap system used by Macpresse rotates the bale about these two axis at the same time reducing any distortion in the shape of the bale maintaining the bales stackability. Once wrappped the film is automatically cut and the bale is conveyed to a collection point where it is transported to storage by forklift truck.
When wrapped in plastic film, bales will maintains their integrity during extended storage and repel moisture, essential if the bales are being stored outside.
