What is the Audit Form?
The ESG Commercial Building Audit Form (CBAF) is a 6-page self-audit document designed for owners, office managers, facility managers, custodial staff and engineers who want to learn how to improve the energy efficiency and cut costs for a commercial or municipal building. While the CBAF is a 'must' for buildings up to 50,000 SF, managers of larger buildings can benefit from the audit as well.
The main differences between ESG's CBAF and other self-audit instruments are:
most self-audit instruments are designed for residential buildings;
the personal analysis and recommendations of an ESG Energy auditor supported by a team of experts

Detail
The CBAF addresses the following areas: building envelope, lighting, HVAC, water systems, compressed air systems, electrical equipment and maintenance. This is the same form ESG personnel have used for audits of municipal buildings.
Once ESG has received and analyzed the completed CGAF, an energy auditor will contact you by telephone or e-mail to provide a minimum of five recommendations for improvement. This entire process usually takes about 48 hours from the time we receive the form.
