Solar Turbines provides overhaul support for its entire gas turbine product line. We have over 65 years of experience and have performed more than 30,000 overhauls. Solar offers a variety of overhaul solutions based on your needs. As opposed to using a third party, we maintain exclusive access to engineering specifications and implement the latest original equipment manufacturer (OEM) design improvements in each overhaul.

Engine Exchange Program
More Flexibility with Engine Exchanges
Solar delivers more than 800 exchange engines from our extensive fleet every year and provides the support needed to reliably extend the life of your equipment. Approximately 80% of Solar customers select this program because their equipment is back in operation in as little as two days. An engine exchange consists of replacing your current engine with a fully renewed engine that is rigorously tested and certified to operate under current OEM standards.

Upgrading your existing equipment can be less costly than purchasing an additional unit. You can optimize your productivity while remaining within the same physical footprint.
Your equipment can be economically upgraded at the time of overhaul using Solar’s exchange program. Instead of waiting weeks to have your original turbine upgraded, an exchange unit can be provided at a higher power rating or with a SoLoNOx conversion to minimize your downtime.
