Renewable energy in India can be not only an additional source of power but an answer to the limitations of grid electricity. Today, renewable sources of energy are proving to be more and more attractive not just because they are clean – with rising prices of conventional fuels like coal and crude, technologies like wind are emerging as the cheapest sources of energy even without the benefits of incentives.
India has a large potential for renewable energy based on various technologies – wind, solar, bio, small hydro etc. Each of these technologies differs in commercial (tariffs, incentives etc.) as well as financial (project life, funding etc.) aspects. We aim to assist potential investors in this area by evaluating various options available and identifying those options most suitable to their requirements. We also get involved in the execution stage by coordinating with various agencies involved in setting up of a renewable energy project including government, regulators, technology suppliers etc. Finally, we assist potential investors with raising funds through equity participation or debt route.
