Over the past six years STC’s in house software developers have created new software applications to cater for the demands of the ever changing energy markets.
STC's latest application is known as “Navigator SQL”. The application has the latest three tier design and we believe it provides the most advanced M&T, energy, financial and environmental reporting and graphical analysis package available for managing large property and energy portfolios.
The system has been completely redesigned to eliminate all the problems introduced by the deregulation of the UK’s gas and electricity supply industries, such as frequent changes of suppliers and contract rates. Importantly STC’s bureau processes hundreds of thousands of utility invoices each year. This has allowed us to identify weaknesses in various suppliers’ billing platforms and to engineer solutions that allow customers to move freely between suppliers and contracts.
The system is used on a daily basis by STC’s in-house bureau teams to provide a focal point for our customer’s energy management and energy purchasing activities. The system includes; monitoring and targeting (M&T), energy and environmental reporting, bill validation, tariff and contract analysis, preparation of utility supply tender documents and a complete database of utility account information.
