Winter School: Wind Energy, Solar Power & Biogas Plants in Kassel (Germany) 2-20 Feb 2015
The German Academy for Renewable Energy and Environmental Technology offers this Winter School: 'Wind Energy, Solar Power, & Biogas Plants' in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology (IWES). The training facilities used by the German Academy, are some of the most up to date facilities in the Renewable Energy sector today. This winter school will consist of three, one-week modules which combine theory and practice focusing on wind, solar, and biogas energy. At a high level of learning intensity and efficiency through lectures, presentations, and exercises participants will further their knowledge pertaining to renewable energy. Each module includes a highly valuable practical aspect where participants will have the chance to visit German manufacturers/operators and companies in the wind, solar, and biogas fields.

Engineers, technicians, professional, decision makers, experts, academic scholars, industry newcomers and practitioners of manufacturers, suppliers, operators, developers and investors in the renewable energy sector with basic knowledge about electrical engineering or/and mechanical engineering
A certificate of participation will be handed out to participants who have attended at least 90% of the summer courses upon completion of the program.
