Dexter offers an imbalance forecaster and an optimal policy algorithm to trade flexible assets in the ultra-short-term range, so almost real-time. Flexible assets are for example large-scale batteries, curtailable renewable parks or flexible combined-heat-and-power units.
The revenues coming from those assets are being obtained from the day-ahead and intra-day market, but with Dexter's algorithms can be augmented by trading on the imbalance market in real-time.
