At 2400 meters of altitude with MB BF80.3 crusher bucket
It won’t be a mountain to stop MB Crusher Bucket. Neither a chairlift
Because where there is the need to crush, to reduce the material and recover it, where large machines cannot reach; it is there that MB crusher bucket, first of its kind to appear in the market, is present.
We are at roughly 2400 meters above sea level, above Gressoney, Valle d’Aosta, just below the dam, where a 48’’ pipeline will began to bring water to the lower down hydroelectric plant.
It is here that MB crusher bucket model BF80.3 is working, mounted on an excavator CAT319, to crush the material originated by explosion of a very hard rock (Serpentine Granite). The reduced material will be used to fill the pipeline.
The job has been taken on by a consortium of local companies. However the pipeline implementation and its excavation coverage, has been allocated to Cogeis SpA of Quincinetto in the Turin province.
And Cogeis S.p.A. never had any doubts: the only solution was MB crusher bucket. Firstly because the site is located on top of the mountain, this means that any unit can get there only by aerial cableway. Also because space is limited so a versatile and compact equipment is a must. Last but not least because the excavator had to be taken anyway (disassembled into three parts due to weight restriction of the cable car and then reassembled at the site) so considering that the machine was already there, it was enough to just apply the right attachment as the MB crusher bucket.
