Enviva Wood Pellet Storage Dome Rises in Wilmington Skyline Video
A new wood pellet storage dome took shape at the Port of Wilmington, rising from ground level to a height of 17 stories in about three hours. The dome is the most visible feature of a $50 million export terminal being built by the Enviva family of companies, which also is building a pellet manufacturing plant in Sampson County, about 70 miles northwest of Wilmington. Together, the Sampson plant and Wilmington export terminal represent a $150 million investment in eastern North Carolina.
