Circular calcium carbonate solutions for paint & coatings industry - Paint
Calcium carbonate is widely used as a functional filler in paints and coatings to enhance opacity, brightness and much more. Our Circular Calcium Carbonate further adds important sustainable benefits. Applying CCC enables paint producers to cost effectively increase the circular content in their products, which in turn minimises their carbon footprint and reduces their use of primary resources.
Our CCC application tests show that CCC performs comparably to linear calcium carbonate (ground calcium carbonate, or GCC) alternatives after minimal paint reformulations. The production of paint and primers with substantial recycled content is already possible.
Tests with CCC in wall fillers have already resulted in a market-ready product. Stay tuned for more information on this product launch.
