Eppic Environmental and Alternative Energy Index Continues through 2017 and into 2018
For 2017
2017 was the 14th edition of environmental & renewable energy paper titles indexed from selected journals & conferences into one 400-subject Index. Our purpose is to list titles from an application, multi-field use perspective for professional application, and also to include general readers. Through this process over 22,500 titles were indexed in 2017 from 120 publications and 133 conferences. Indexed conferences and publications / journals for 2017 are listed on the website, www.eppicenvae.org
The Index fouses on conferences and publications of established trade associations, professional associations, and specialty conferences on the environment and renewable energy. In recent years new focus areas and international conferences and publications have been added to strengthen the Index content. Finally, we also include 19 general scientific, business and financial magazines to offer more perspectives and viewpoints in two high interest areas by the scientific community and by citizens who have an interest in the environment and renewable energy.
For 2018
Science in most fields – most particularly in areas of the environment and alternative energy - has faced undue and undeserved treatment recently, but must continue to produce correct and useful information for the many who see the misdirection of today's environmental and renewable energy polices in the expectation that lost scientific respect will eventually return. This Index will continue its small part in pointing to information from credible sources and to present all views on issues for reasoned and informed decisions by those managing environmental and alternative energy policies and directions. Clearly the demand for information in both areas has not declined, but may have increased given the volume, frequency and breadth of journal, magazine and conference coverage – and reflected in the growth of this index - in recent years.
