The municipality of Cártama (Málaga) has a deposit located at an elevated level from which drinking water is distributed by gravity. In one of the sectors of the network there is a reducing valve that reduces the pressure downstream by 20 meters.

THE SOLUTION

Tecnoturbines installs a HE turbine in parallel to the reducing valve to obtain energy for public lighting. The system has a battery bank of 24V and 240Ah capacity equipped with a 230V inverter to power the lighting system.
