Here’s how a waste to energy incinerator can actually save you money

For many companies, industrial and commercial waste disposal is viewed as a necessary but unpopular & unwanted expense. For others, however, quite the opposite is true. Efficient waste disposal is recognised not only as an important duty to help protect the environment, but it is also seen as an opportunity to ensure that the waste incineration process itself can provide valuable free resources which in turn could generate considerable financial savings for the company in question. The key, of course, is firstly the amount of commercial or industrial waste that has to be disposed of. And secondly who they consult to advise them on the most environmentally responsible and most cost-effective method. Someone like Matthews Environmental Solutions (MES) who has the experience, expertise, skills and facilities to assess whether a waste to energy incinerator is a viable option for their requirements.

The concept of a waste to energy incinerator is not new of course. In fact, the technology has been around for many years, but in today’s challenging financial climate and with increased recognition of the need to recycle as much as we can, then energy recovery systems have never been more important. Or more popular.

It is also true that the technology behind waste to energy recovery systems is relatively simple. It is a fact, however, that at MES, thanks to our on-going research, product development and advanced design abilities, we are now internationally recognised as being one of the world’s pioneers and market leaders in waste to energy incinerator innovation.

In any waste incineration process, there is an immense amount of heat generated, but so very often this energy force is simply dispersed into the atmosphere via a chimney. What a waste.

The MES waste to energy incinerator solution is to capture, harness and re-employ that heat in order to convert it into usable energy such as steamhot water or hot air. These valuable resources can then be subsequently employed within the company’s production process or as a no-cost source of space heating.

All this is in effect a free source of energy using heat generated by the waste incineration process that would otherwise simply disappear into thin air.

Steam

Steam has many potential uses within industrial processes, so it makes perfect economic sense to produce it, and make full use of it, without any additional cost.

Hot Water

Hot water is a most valuable commodity for a vast range of industrial processes. It is also an essential means of producing an efficient heating system for industrial and administrative buildings. Thanks to MES energy recovery systems this hot water is effectively free.

Hot Air

Hot air, as well as being a most valuable industrial resource, can also be used as an effective means of space heating.  Even better when you can get it free.
