The Kulakovskiy Landfill Gas Power Generation Facility, located in the Chekhov region of Russia near Moscow, has an installed capacity of 2 MW. Approximately 140 tons per day of domestic solid waste is stored at Solid Waste Management Plant and converted into electriacal energy, meeting the electricity needs of 28 thousand people per year.
