Project - Sakarya Landfill Gas Regenerative Siloxane Removal System

In the plant located within the borders of Sakarya, solid wastes are disposed of by regular landfilling, and an integrated solid waste management system has been established, including recycling and recovery. Thus, the recyclable wastes are separated and brought into the economy; Separatable burnable wastes are used in the production of fuel derived from waste, and biogas is obtained from the organic part of the waste by biomethanization method, this biogas is converted into electricity, and heat energy through gas engines, and the remaining digestate is dewatered to produce compost and/or fertilizer. In addition to these gains, the life of the solid waste landfill facility in the same location will be extended at the end of the operation.
