What are the types of opgw cable

According to the different components and structures of the OPGW, the OPGW is classified as follows.

1 According to the material of the light unit protection tube, the OPGW structure type is divided into stainless steel tube type OPGW and aluminum tube type OPGW (including aluminum clad stainless steel tube type OPGW).

2 According to the different positions of the optical unit in the OPGW structure, the OPGW structure type is divided into a central tubular structure and a layered structure.

3 For stainless steel tube type OPGW, according to the number of optical units, the OPGW structure type is divided into single optical unit OPGW, double optical unit OPGW and multi-optical unit OPGW.

4 According to stranded layer and stranded single wire material, OPGW structure type is divided into all aluminum clad steel structure (stranded single wire is aluminum clad steel wire) and mixed stranded structure (stranded single wire includes aluminum clad steel wire and aluminum alloy wire).

5 For the OPGW of a single optical unit, the central tube structure is shown in Figure a), and the layered structure is shown in Figures b) and c); the OPGW structure of two optical units is shown in Figures d) and e) . The aluminum tubular OPGW structure is shown in Fig. f) and Fig. g).
