Due to the limited space available, a highly elevated structure was necessary. We have a rooftop garden, and we wanted to minimize the area occupancy of the system. Due to the surrounding buildings, the panels were shaded earlier in the evening than wanted.
We went with installation of microinverters to maximize production in the given constraints we had, and reduce risk of DC current electrocution while gardening on the roof.
We have an operational rooftop solar energy system with minimal space obstruction, and safer than a string inverter in terms of safety
