ACCURO FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS products
Gas Extinguishing Systems
A gas extinguishing system is a fire extinguishing system that extinguishes fire with the help of a gaseous extinguishing agent either through oxygen displacement (reduction of oxygen content) or physical effects (heat extraction). In contrast to a sprinkler system, a gas extinguishing system is designed to extinguish and not only suppress fire.
Water Spray Extinguishing Systems
Water spray extinguishing systems protect objects and rooms which are susceptible to rapid outbreaks of fire. Whilst sprinkler systems selectively spray extinguishing water over the fire when necessary, water spray or water deluge systems can be used to extensively spray, cool and therefore protect larger technical objects. Furthermore, the flue-gas cleaning effect offers excellent personal protection in the event of a fire.
Extinguishing Water Supply System
Despite the increasingly modern extinguishing agents and technologies available, water remains the most commonly used agent to extinguish fire. Water is also suitable for fighting incipient and large-scale fires. One condition for both cases is, of course, a sufficient extinguishing water supply. In addition to cast iron pipes, ACCURO also specialises in using FM-tested underground polyethylene pipes (PE, PEHD).
FirePro - Aero Extinguishing Systems
FirePro systems use the latest generation of patented FPC technology. During a system activation, a highly effective extinguishing aerosol is created. The aerosol expands quickly and extinguishing fire very efficient. The Systems are characterized by a very compact design. Beside other applications, it`s the ideal solution for fire protection of electrical cabinets. The fire extinguishment takes place by the interruption of the chemical chain reaction of the fire. During activation, no higher pressure is created in the extinguishing area. There is also no reduction in the oxygen concentration
FIREDETEC® - Automatic gas extinguishing system
FireDeTec® is a simply designed and cost-effective automatic gas extinguishing system. The basic model works without an electrical power supply. In general, the system consists of a polyethylene tube, a cylinder valve and a steel cylinder filled with extinguishing gas.
The principle:
If the temperature increases to over approx. 80°C, the tube installed in the protective area will melt. The extinguishing gas is therefore released directly from the tube (direct extinguishing) or a separate piping network (indirect extinguishing) into the extinguishing area to suppress the fire.
Novec 1230 ® (Keton) - GAS EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS
The extinguishing agent Novec 1230 (ISO-certification FK-5-1-12) is a colourless, almost odourless liquid which is contained in carbon, fluoride and oxygen molecules (chemical formula CF3CF2C(O)CF(CF3)2). Strictly speaking it is not a Halon but a fluorinated ketone (perfluorinated ethyl isopropyl ketone). The extinguishing effect of Novec 1230 in stationary fire extinguishing systems is due to a homogeneous inhibition (disruption of the combustion chain reaction). The molecule is not electrically conductive. With a global warming potential (CO2 equivalent) of 1, it has the lowest value of all currently approved chemical extinguishing agents and disintegrates within a few days under solar radiation.
