The unique design of the ADES wind turbine includes three passive mechanical systems: a swivelling single-blade rotor, a pendulum power train and a selfsteering nacelle. The design compensates, accumulates and reinstates wind speed variations, preventing them from affecting the evenness of generator rotation and subsequently diminishing structural overload and power peaks caused by wind gusts. These are single-bladed downwind turbines with a variable pitch rotor and set or variable speeds, depending on the model.

ADES`s R&D&I team have developed an equipment unit that is an energy station. It combines solar and fossil fuel energy sources with accumulation systems, and is capable of filling the energy demand of small isolated communities or emergency camps immediately.

Most advanced cities and infrastructures are incorporating architectural solutions able to take advantage of the available energy renewable resources for local energy generation. This means competitiveness and sustainability.

The current evolution of irrigation has led to pumping resulting in water displacement to a certain elevation as the best solution to ensure water pressure and address efficient automation. On the other hand, the energy consumption for the drive required for pumps displacing water to a higher elevation involves a higher cost which, in the case of communities of irrigators, also results in an increased not deductible value added tax.
