The AEMC Cable Locator Model 6681 detects buried (in ground or in walls) telecommunications cables, electric power and other cables, and metal pipes, during modification or maintenance work on installations of category III (or lower), at voltages of 300V (or less) with respect to ground. The system can locate open circuits, shorts, track cables and locate fuses or circuit breakers. The instrument is a portable system that includes a transmitter, a receiver, and accessories. The transmitter and receiver both have a large back-lit LCD and large keys.

The AmpFlex is an AC current sensor composed of a flexible Rogowski coil and an electronic module. The sensor permits measurements on conductors where standard clamp-on probes cannot be used. In particular, it can be installed in tight spaces, around cable bundles, around wide or large bus bars, or even wrapped around irregular shapes. The Shape Memory feature enables the user to pre-shape the sensor before inserting it between or around conductors. The Model AX502 offers dual 30V outputs. It provides the ability to display both voltage and current for each output. The Model AX502 offers a unique master/slave tracking arrangement whereby the ratio between the master and slave can be setup on the fly as needed during the test. Adjusting the master voltage causes the slave to track. Adjusting the slave voltage causes the ratio from master to slave to change accordingly. It offers a Coarse and Fine voltage adjustment as well as a current limiting adjustment.
