Consistently high system performance even in extreme environmental conditions. In today’s world, AR coating is a must have. The efficiency of solar systems or greenhouses increases in proportion to the irradiated energy and thus with the increased transmission of the glass. Double-sided AR coating increases the solar glass transmission by about 5% if the incidence angle of light is completely vertical to the glass, or by about 2.5% per surface.

Float glass process that ensures a consistent high quality; As the world’s first solar glass manufacturer, f | solar offers 2 mm thin semi-tempered glass (TVG) with general technical approval (abZ). Our 2 mm solar glass is exclusively produced in a float glass process. This industrial process adheres to very strict production tolerances and guarantees a very low defect density. For 2 mm think glass is high quality production of critical importance. Experience, know-how and a high degree of automation in glass processing guarantees top quality and efficient production of glass-glass PV modules.

Our AR coating technology is unique worldwide. We have one of the best performing and world’s largest continuous vacuum coating systems for producing high-end functional films on glass. SUN MIROX™THIN is an extra clear extra thin high reflectivity mirror perfectly suited for lamination purposes and use in parabolic dish, parabolic trough collectors, CSP or CPV. Once laminated with an appropriate adhesive onto a support material the mirror is perfectly well protected and shows a very high chemical and mechanical durability.SUN MIROX™THIN conforms to EN1036. SOLAR MIRROR THICK is an extra clear high reflectivity glass mirror perfectly suited for use in solar tower or Fresnel collectors.Its composition (silver, copper, 3 paint layers) ensures a very high chemical and mechanical durability.SOLAR MIRROR THICK conforms to EN1036.

AO10 is a clear float glass, coated with Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO). The right balance between transmission, haze and conductibility of the TCO coating enables for improving the thin film cell efficiency.Indeed, when rightly deposited, the TCO has the potential.To lower the reflection at the interface with the absorber;To increase the path of light into the absorber;To trap the light into the absorber.Combined with the excellent durability of glass, AO10 is the product of choice for thin film photovoltaic modules (amorphous silicon).AO10 conforms to EN572 and is fully temperable.

SunEwat is covered by a 10-year product guarantee, while performance guarantees are given for 10 years (90% of nominal power) and 20 years (80% of nominal power).

This ensures the highest energy transmission over the whole solar spectrum.Combined with the excellent durability of glass, SOLITE™ is the product of choice for photovoltaic modules (crystalline and CIGS, where its pattern allows for an easy lamination) and for thermal collectors. Through its pattern, SOLITE™ also ensures non-blinding reflection and a better aesthetics to the solar modules.SOLITE™ conforms to EN572 and is delivered fully tempered as per EN12150.
