Quality standards

Measuring instruments, measuring converters and sensors of AHLBORN Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH are the result of targeted development and careful manufacturing processes. Our products are verified for compliance with the technical data by using the corresponding data sheets.

The measurement equipment used for the verification process is subject to regular control checks, which are based on the management of test tools of the standard DIN ISO 9001.
Calibrations are either carried out by using a reference measuring instrument in comparison or based on documented calibration procedures.
The measurement standard as well as the reference measuring instrument is traceable back to the national measurement standard published by the Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB; German Federal Institute of Physics and Technology) or to other national standards and directions.

Evolution of measuring technology

Since more than 20 years we use intelligent connecting plugs for sensors. This means that one single measurement instrument is able to operate completely different applications – just the sensor needs to be exchanged. By doing so, no extensive programming is necessary. The measurement operation can start right after connecting the respective sensor.

DAkkS accredited calibration laboratory

For being able to offer a close to complete calibration range for all measured quantities that can be acquired by the ALMEMO® measuring technology, we maintain a DAkkS accredited calibration laboratory. Concerning the measured quantities air temperature, pressure, air humidity, wind speed and electrical sizes, we are accredited according to standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
