The NGI-5000 ignition system is designed for large bore gas engines, providing an advanced solution for precise ignition control. It features dual 7-inch, full HD displays that are sunlight-readable with a brightness of 900 nits, ensuring visibility under all lighting conditions. The system is powered by a 24 Vdc source, drawing between 10 to 20 amps, and is built to operate in extreme environments with a temperature range from -40°F to +158°F (-40°C to +70°C). This makes it suitable for diverse applications, especially in harsh industrial settings. The NGI-5000 includes communication and control inputs, making it adaptable to various system requirements and enhancing its integration capabilities. It offers improved performance and reliability, appealing to industries reliant on large gas engines for continuous operation.
Altronic - Logic Module for Gas Engine Ignition Systems
The NGI-5000 Logic Module is a pivotal upgrade for existing CPU-2000 ignition systems, designed specifically for large gas engine applications. As a direct drop-in replacement, it retains the existing enclosure, mounting, and system wiring setups, ensuring seamless integration. This advanced logic module features dual 7-inch full HD displays that are user-configurable for comprehensive system monitoring and control. It introduces the Altronic Web Interface (AWI), enabling straightforward customization of displays. Enhanced communications capabilities include support for Modbus RTU and TCP protocols, an integral Ethernet switch, and compatibility with external systems. The module is certified for use in Class I, Division 2, Group C and D hazardous areas. Powered by a combination of high-performance microcontroller and microprocessor, it bridges real-time engine control with external communications. The NGI-5000 Logic Module also offers a future-proof upgrade path for complete NGI-5000 system installations, empowering a modern, reliable solution for engine ignition management.
