ASCE - A Case Study of the Design of Curb-Mounted Rooftop Unit Support Frames (AWI021017) Courses
This webinar provides engineers with a case study of several curb-mounted rooftop unit frame projects. These projects show the design process from the initial meeting all the way through the construction phase. Nearly all buildings structural engineers encounter today have various rooftop curb-mounted equipment. Many times, existing buildings are being upfit for new rooftop units as well. Thus, there is a need for engineers to be able to understand the design process in order to be able to take these types of projects on. Additionally, there are various tricks of the trade that can help save time, effort, and phone calls from the field. This webinar utilizes real world case studies to illustrate the full design process in order to equip participants with the skills to succeed on curb-mounted rooftop unit project.
