Operation Under AMOSPlan: A Nationally Integrated Response Framework

AMOSC functions under the AMOSPlan, which outlines cooperative agreements for all AMOSC members and illustrates how the industry integrates in Australia’s National Plan for Maritime Environmental Emergencies.

The AMOSPlan is structured into three tiers:

Internal Use – for AMOSC operational purpose,
Member Use – for AMOSC members’ preparedness and response activities, and
Wider Dissemination – information on industry arrangements is available on our website.

The first two operational tiers provide detailed guidance for effective marine oil spill responses, while the public tier promotes transparency in supporting national marine environmental protection.
