Utility Flares; Pipe Flares are unassisted equipment designed to combust hydrocarbons where non-smokeless operation is environmentally acceptable or where the waste gases produce little or no smoke due to their composition.

High gas flows and difficult access to digesters may cause a need for a deviation from the standard design of biogas flares, which are used to dispose of waste streams coming from landfills, biogas, biomass and wastewater facilities. Enclosed flares are designed to maintain a high destruction ratio within the vertical combustion chamber and a stable combustion necessary for destruction of multiple biogas streams contaminated with VOCs and Sulfuric Acid.
