The extremely rugged AC/DC UPS solution in IP65 housing ensures uninterruptible DC power supply to 24V loads in harsh industrial environments and outdoor applications, providing reliable protection against power failure, flicker or voltage dips. The high-quality aluminum housing protects against mechanical impact and contains all components of the emergency power supply: The complete DC UPS control and charging electronics with upstream AC/DC converter as well as the particularly safe 10-year battery pack with LiFePO4 cells and high-performance BMS.

The fully encapsulated DC/DC converters are characterized by their compact design, high efficiency and reliability. In the power range 10W they are available both as print modules and for DIN Rail mounting with practical terminal blocks and detachable DIN Rail system. The controlled modules offer an external remote on-/off control and provide a cost-effective and space-saving solution for demanding environmental conditions. Typical fields of applications of the BDC series are decentralised power supplies as well as industrial, data and communication systems.

The high quality supercap pack serve as maintenance-free energy storage for the DC UPS system UPSI. The electric double layer capacitors (EDLC) come with a very wide operating temperature range of -20°…+70°C. Due to the high cycle stability of more than 500,000 charging and discharging cycles, this energy storage device guarantees a very long service life. Furthermore the supercaps provide an enormous power density.

The intelligent DC UPS UPSI-2412 for flexible system integration reliably bridges power failures and faults, so that the uninterruptible 24 VDC power supply with up to 10A is guaranteed at the output at all times. In normal operation, the UPSI-2412 forwards the DC input voltage directly to the output, charges the connected energy storage device in parallel and monitors all relevant parameters, currents and voltages. In the event of a voltage drop or power failure, a MOSFET disconnects the input within a few microseconds and the connected load is supplied without interruption from the energy storage device and the UPSI-2412 provides a constantly regulated DC output voltage.

With the IUPS-401 for 230 VAC networks, which has been tried and tested a thousand times over, you protect yourself against data loss and expensive downtimes in the event of a power failure. The IUPS-401 (Internal Uninterruptible Power Supply) is either integrated into the housing of the industrial PC or mounted in the control cabinet with the optionally available PSZ-1087 metal holder. The connection to the computer system is made via USB interface and UPS management software, which shuts down and switches off the computer in the event of a long power failure.
