Akasol AKR - Lithium Ion Battery Systems

Ultra High Energy Battery System

More Power at Less Space: With very high energy densities on system level and in our view the most compact liquid cooling, our battery systems have very low space requirements and emit only little heat. These are the ideal preconditions for a long battery life with a high power output for a safe, reliable and durable operation. Serial Production According to IATF 16949: To fulfill our clients‘ automotive standards, our battery systems for bus applications are developed and produced in an automotive IATF 16949 compliant environment at our headquarters in Darmstadt/Germany. And where necessary, we fulfill additional, project-specific requirements.

DC Fast Charger

At 120kW power size, IPERION-120, the fast charging station for automotive applications by BorgWarner, can charge one vehicle at full power, or two vehicles simultaneously at a maximum power of 60kW each. With an output voltage range from 200Vdc to up to 900Vdc, the DC fast charger enables the charge of any vehicle size and of future generation batteries.
