Over Voltage Relay

When supply and input sample voltages are connected to terminals A1, A2 and U, V respectively and in addition, voltage is in allowed range, device internal relay would be open(internal contact of terminal 15 to 18 is established) and PWR and FAULT signals would be on and off respectively. If input sample voltage is higher than the limit adjusted by VOLT potentiometer handle, device starts timing and at the end of time adjusted by DELAY potentiometer handle, FAULT signal gets ON and device internal relay closes (internal contact of terminal 15 to 16 is made). If input sample voltage decreases into allowed range during the above adjusted time, relay remains intact.

Borna - Core Balance for Earth Fault

This core balance CT acts based on vector summation of passing currents through the device. If vector summation of passing currents is zero, output voltage of core balance CT will be zero. But if it is not zero, there would be a voltage at core balance CT output proportional to leakage current. The voltage magnitude is proportional to leakage current (100 mV/A and linear up to 100 A). According to the device setting, connection or disconnection command will be applied by application of this voltage to earth fault and earth leakage devices.

Borna - Re-Start Timer

This device is designed for consumer restart in the case of re-energization. After applying voltage to terminals A1 and A2, PWR signal gets ON, delay time starts and melody runs. At the end of delay time, relay acts for a second and START signal gets ON. At this time, restart happens (internal contact of terminal 15 to 18 is made) and melody stops after timing ends. In the case of de-energization, the device gets ready to work again. Position the device key in ON status for restart relay operation and in OFF status to get it out of circuit.

BORNA Electronic Company has manufactured and supplied cathodic protection TR panel types so as to protect cathodically the grids and pipelines with lesser length, small scale reservoirs, steel installations residential and office structures and concrete structures including bridges and also to prevent large amounts of expenses. Such transformer rectifiers are usually used within ranges of 10∼50 volts and 5∼30 amperes. However, air-cooled transformer rectifiers with higher ranges may be produced upon request.

Rectifier Transformers

Rectifiers are the converters that convert AC supply voltage into DC using semiconductors. Rectifier transformers, which are considered as appropriate power supplies for the rectifiers’ circuits, are considered as the most important element of rectifiers which should design based on circuit conditions ,and specific considerations related to such convertors should take into consideration thoroughly. These converters are mostly used in oil and gas industries, electrolysis, and the mills producing metals such as aluminum, zinc, copper. Isolation Transformers

Usually the output voltage of isolation transformers is equal to their input voltage. Using isolation transformers between two electrical circuits practically breaks the electrical connection between them. Isolation transformers in a circuit, play the role of ‘protection of people against electric shock’. As they isolate the system from ground, touching one wire does not cause electric shock. Earthing Transformer

These transformers are used where there is no neutral earth connection. Connection type in such transformers is in a zigzag (Zn) form. This transformer has three coils; coil of each phase is divided into two equal parts and the end half of coil of the first column is in series with half of coil of the second column in an opposite direction.
