Integrated DESS is a distributed energy storage system that integrates energy conversion system (PCS), energy batteries and BMS, photovoltaic charger with little-volume and compact-structure. Integrated DESS is single-phase AC output; applicable for the occasions that electrical load is relatively small.

20KW/40KWh Energy Storage Cabinet adopts steel 42U standard cabinet (the bottom surface is 600mm×1200mm)as the body, consists of 38KW on-grid PCS modules, 20KW PV charger module and 40KWh lithium iron phosphate battery modules with high performance and high safety, applicable to the occasions of energy storage, power regulation and frequency modulation; Many machines can be in parallel to realize capacity expansion; it can form into micro-grid system with other generating equipment, coordinate and match the output power of each generating device according to the load demand.

BEM33KTL is modular inverter. It can operate in parallel. New converter technology design would reduce consumption and improve the overall efficiency for BEM33KTL. The inverter also has advantages on high conversion efficiency, fast conversion of full power charging/discharging, wide range of environment working temperature.

The national wind power, solar power, energy storage and transmission demonstration project located in Zhangbei, Hebei Province, is a part of the national “Golden Sun” program and one of the smart grid pilot tests of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC).The project is cosponsored by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology and SGCC with an investment over RMB3.3 billion. BYD’s Iron-Phosphates battery storage system with a capacity of 6MW/36MWh accounts for the majority of the project’s energy storage. The energy storage station aims to achieve wind-solar output smoothing, schedule following, peak shaving and frequency regulation technical difficulties of new energy application inside the utility system.
