Low-Temperature Flares
C-nox - Low-Temperature Flares
Thanks to the modular system, the most economical solution is available for every application. Design examples for all biogases, sewage gases or synthetic gases for combustion temperatures of up to 850°C:
C-nox - Flares
The light option for retrofitting. Options: With or without compressor. Winter package with electrical heaters. Commissioning. Maintenance and service.
High-Temperature Flares
C-nox - High-Temperature Flares
The controlled gas/air ratio in the combustion chamber ensures that a temperature of >1000 °C is always maintained in the combustion chamber. The flow rate in and the geometry of the combustion chamber ensure a minimum gas dwell time. During this time, any residual oxidizable compounds are oxidized as required in the German technical circular on protection against air pollution.
C-nox - High-Temperature Flares
High-Temperature Flares for environmentally compatible combustion, lean gases require added support gas, such as natural gas or propane. Here again, the controlled gas/air ratio ensures the required combustion temperature of >1000 °C inside the combustion chamber. As a variation from the standard technology, in this flare type the required quantity of support gas is added to the combustion.
C-nox - High-Temperature Flares
If the combustion air is heated upstream of the combustion process, the consumption of the support gas required for the combustion of lean gases can be significantly reduced. The necessary heat is taken from the exhaust gas and guided into the combustion chamber via heat exchangers. If the dimensioning is right, for example methane concentrations of down to 12% can be burned without the need for support gas. Here again, the controlled gas/air ratio ensures the required combustion temperature of >1000 °C inside the combustion chamber.
C-nox - Fire Box
Conventional heat exchangers can only be used within limitations on account of their material properties at high temperatures. For this reason, only a small part of the heat from the flame can be used for the pre-heating of the raw gas. The patented recuperative combustion chamber from C-nox (patent no.: 10 2012 023 257) improves the heat recovery from exhaust gases and allows the autothermal combustion of methane concentrations of single digit percentages. The saving in support gas compared to the standard technology is considerable.
C-nox - High-Temperature Flares
LCH flares (medium-temperature flares) are excellent for emergency disposal installations with constant methane concentrations (calorific values). The pre-set air supply ensures the correct combustion temperature and dwell time for the combustion gas. In this variant, once again only high quality components are used fulfilling all safety-engineering requirements (e.g. ATEX, DIN EN 746-2, DIN EN 298).
Gas Compressor Stations
Gas Compressor Station
For the disposal of waste gases from industry, composting plants, waste treatment plants or for the transportation of sewage gases and biogases, individual gas compressor stations are required. These extract the gas where it is generated (e.g. at the fermenter, the dump, anaerobic digester or large tank) and compress the gas until the required pressure for the subsequent process steps is reached. For example for a heat-and-power plant, a boiler or a flare. C-nox designs and supplies pre-manufactured gas compressor systems in container units in a wide range of sizes and for a variety of applications.
