With Canadian Solar’s proprietary poly wafer and cell technologies we have developed an extraordinary module. HiKu is the first poly module exceeding 400 W and thus reaches one of the highest poly module power outputs in the solar industry. Combining the best technology and design, it also reduces LCOE and installation costs.

With Canadian Solar’s industry leading bifacial cell technology and extensive know-how in double glass module manufacturing, we have now developed a new generation of high efficiency bifacial modules with both module sides producing power at the same time. Large Poly BiKu’s front side output can reach up to 365 W, and large Mono BiKu’s front side output can reach 380 W. Canadian Solar BiKu modules’ bifaciality is as high as 75%, which generates up to 30 % more power than conventional modules.

With Canadian Solar’s innovative shingled module and Mono-PERC cell technology we can now offer small format high density modules of up to 335 W. HiDM with its enhanced aesthetics and IP granted module design is the ideal solution for residential rooftop installations. Through maximizing the light absorption area and removing the loss of ribbon resistance, the module efficiency can reach up to 20.16%.

Canadian Solar has developed an innovative cool module design, Ku Modules, based on Low Internal Current (LIC) module technology - the next generation of module technology. The new Ku Modules portfolio is available in both poly- and monocrystalline. The Ku module portfolio consists of the following types: KuMax (144 cells), KuPower (120 cells), KuBlack (120 cells) and the corresponding double-glass KuDymond.
