The manipulator allows the introduction of oxygen and carbon lances from the slag door of electric arc furnace for cleaning, decarburisation and foaming slag. The manipulator consists of a vertical column with a rotating arm which holds the lances driving units. The frontal and lower parts of the driving unit are protected by a water cooled panel.

Machines are designed as a stand alone systems for the preheating and/or drying of all kind of ladles. Proprietary design low NOx burners guarantee an excellent homogeneity of temperature distribution inside the ladle. Machine can work with several types of fuels (natural gas, LPG, diesel, light and heavy oil, coke oven gas, BOF and mixed gas with calorific value lower than 2000 kcal/Nm3, etc…) according to Customer requirements. Oxygen burners can be also supplied to reach highest temperature, reduce heating time and reduce fuel consumption. Temperature controls are completely automatic and the machines comply with the latest international standards of safety.

The aim is to realize a stand alone system for preheating or drying all kind of tundishes. Number of burners varies according to tundish dimension and strands number (which generally ranges from one to eight). According to Customer requirements, different configurations are available: 90° tilting movement, vertical lifting movement, vertical lifting and horizontal rotating movement, combined tilting and lifting movement, etc. Machine can work with several types of fuels (natural gas, LPG, Diesel Oil, coke oven gas) according to Customer requirements.
