Maret polishing, originally developed for the watchmaking industry, has now established a following in other fields such as medicine, the automotive industry, aeronautics, etc. It is a unique process which has become a genuine quality label, applicable to most industrial materials. Each component is treated using a specific method (recipe) developed according to its material, shape and degree of fragility. This method is defined according to each customer`s specific requirements. This way of doing things ensures repeatable end quality. The strength of Maret polishing is based on this rigorous approach. Minimal material removal ensures that narrow tolerances can be achieved. With the "Dimensional polishing" option, a measurement certificate is supplied for toleranced dimensions. Conversely, the dimensional check on revolving parts (3 or 4-toothed) is carried out systematically.

Flat polishing enhances components via a mirror effect with perfect aesthetic quality. This is possible thanks to high-performance production equipment, our long experience and meticulous, highly professional employees. Particular care is taken in the handling and packing of the worked parts, to preserve their quality. Flat polishing is commonly referred to as black or mirror polishing, etc. Heat treatments are also possible if required.
