Choice R-421B is a high-performance refrigerant in 24lb cylinders engineered for commercial refrigeration and low-temp applications. It directly replaces R-22, R-502, and R-404A without requiring unit modifications, saving time and costs. Choice R-420A, available in 25lb cylinders, is an EPA-accepted refrigerant designed to replace R12 and R500, and can also be used as an alternative to R134a. It features almost identical pressure-temperature (PT) relationships to R12. R-420A does not necessitate an oil change and is compatible with any refrigerant oil. This refrigerant is suitable for a wide range of applications, including chillers, reach-in coolers, bus air conditioning, and walk-in coolers.
