CGS` PACKED BED ABSORBERS rely on the diffusion of the polluting gases or fumes through the carrier gas to reach the surface of the scrub liquor. State of the art packing media provides the required surface area for intimate contact to achieve the highest efficiency. Upon contacting the liquor, the pollutants are absorbed into the liquor.

Our CGS TURBUBED ABSORBER utilizes a turbulent bed of marbles to achieve simultaneous dust and gaseous pollutant removal and achieve the highest efficiency. The number of beds is selected based on your efficiency requirements; Each bed is furnished with drain spouts utilizing rubber check valves for draining the scrub liquor back into the bottom of the unit. Unlike any conventional packed bed absorber, CGS` TURBUBED absorber is capable of handling gases containing particulate matter without plugging problems. The turbulent marble bed is self cleaning.
