Aircraft Battery

Concorde presents an all new recombinant gas RG Series Light Sport Aircraft Battery built under our strict ISO 9001 + AS9100 quality standards using the manufacturing processes you have come to expect with all Concorde Batteries. As a result of Concorde™s experience, our design features for superior performance and high reliability are set apart from other lead acid battery manufacturers. Concorde batteries are constructed with larger than typical over the partition intercell connections for optimum current flow. Overall, our batteries are designed with low internal resistance for high output current and excellent charge acceptance. Our General Aviation batteries are designed with terminals and hardware of silicon bronze alloy providing a corrosion free, low impedance connection. Lead and steel terminals with copper cables will corrode. The old flooded electrolyte vented batteries cause corrosion into the battery terminals, box, tray, and airframe. RG-12LSA is housed in a robust reinforced polypropylene container and cover with bronze alloy terminals. Ships Hazmat exempt via land, sea and air.

Low Resistance, Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Batteries

Recombinant Gas - The RG® Series are low resistance, valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries. Superior starting power. Reliable essential power in the event of a generator failure. Low impedance design. Battery is constructed with non removable vent valves. No addition of electrolyte or water ever required for this maintenance free aircraft battery. This is a non spillable battery at any altitude or attitude. Factory tested to assure airworthiness. Shipped fully charged and ready to install. AGM Battery: Manufactured with absorbed glass mat separators. RG® Series batteries ship non-HAZMAT.

Emergency Batteries

Emergency Battery

Test Temperature @ 23°C ( 74°F) = C1 0.70 Ah. Test Temperature @ -18°C ( 0°F) = C1 TBD. Test Temperature @ -30°C (-22°F) = C1 TBD. Emergency Battery for lighting, standby, back up power, avionics and FADEC. Protects and extends the life of other avionics. Concorde`s Emergency Batteries float directly on the DC buss with no need for a dedicated charger. This results in a high inrush current which extends battery life with fast recovery time from discharge. With the battery floating directly on the buss, transient spikes in the DC power are absorbed. These batteries are self regulating on charge and will take only the current required to maintain it at full charge.
