Power and Energy Meters

Wattnode - Model WND-WR-MB - Wide-Range Modbus Meter

The new WND-WR-MB provides over fifty electrical measurements over a Modbus RTU RS-485 network. Designed as a universal line-powered meter, it works on any utility service from 100 to 600 Vac, single or three-phase, wye, or delta. The WND-WR-MB has the same dimensions as its WattNode Modbus predecessor but its expanded register map provides many unique features not previously offered in the submetering market. New registers include fast power for export limiting, registers to correct wiring errors remotely, potential transformer ratio for 4160 Vac and higher utility services, and SunSpec compliance.

WattNode BACnet - Bidirectional Networked Energy Meter

The WattNode BACnet is a bidirectional networked energy meter offering energy measurement parameters such as energy (kW), power (kWh), voltage, current, demand, kVAR, kVARh, power factor, line frequency, etc. These energy values are communicated using the BACnet communication protocol over RS-485 as individual phase measurements and sum or average readings. The WattNode BACnet can be assigned MAC addresses from 0 to 63 using front panel DIP switches. Up to 64 WattNode BACnet meters can be daisy-chained on one RS-485 subnet. The BACnet - (Building Automation Control Network) term is commonly used to refer to the ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 135, adopted and supported by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). The BACnet protocol provides auto-discovery which is used for device and object discovery over the network. The WattNode BACnet meter has been independently tested by the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL), and is BACnet certified.

WattNode Pulse - Transducer Meter

The WattNode Pulse meter is an accurate, low cost, watt-hour transducer that measures both energy consumed and energy produced (bidirectional). The basic model has two pulse outputs, one for energy consumed and the other for energy produced. Each pulse represents a certain quantity of energy (watt-hours). Many other pulse output configuration are available as options. For a simple kWh metering system, a WattNode Pulse meter can be configured to output exactly one pulse per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy used. The pulse output from the meter is connected to our Pulse Totalizer Display model LCDB-E. This display register counts up the pulses and shows the total number of kWh used. The output pulses from the WattNode meter can also be recorded using a data logger or other data acquisition device such as a building automation system. These systems can calculate the average kW demand during a sample interval and can also provide TOU (time of use) data.

WattNode - Meter Module for Modbus

The WattNode® Meter Module measures bi-directional energy, power, voltage, current, etc. It communicates using Modbus® RTU over RS-485. The Meter Module provides revenue-grade system accuracy when used with the CCS Accu-CT® family of revenue grade (C0.6 or better) current transformers.
