Supplied in both single skin and double skin configuration in capacities up to 150,000L, these above ground tanks are suitable for a wide range of oils, chemicals, pharmaceutical products, water, food products and much more.

Vertical storage tanks with double skins can be supplied from 1,000L to 120,000L and single wall vertical storage tanks up to 250,000L. Configuration can be done to suit your needs but this can include dished top and bottom on legs or skirt, flat bottom, conical bottom or conical top.

Where a rectangular tank better suits the site requirements, CZ can supply these up to 200,000L in single skin or double skin construction. Internally or externally reinforced rectangular tanks can be designed in-house to suit specific client criteria. Supporting structures can also be designed and supplied to allow gravity feed. In-house lining and painting facilities, access steelwork and external insulation can all be accommodated, together with site erection.

CZ’s pressure vessel range are designed to PD.5500:2018, to meet the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), in both carbon and stainless steel. In-house pressure vessel design, together with Finite Element Analysis software, means we can take a client`s design criteria and translate into a fully detailed manufacturing drawing. In both horizontal cylindrical or vertical cylindrical configuration, in thickness of up to 25mm and diameters up to 4m, CZ covers a wide range of carbon and stainless steel pressure vessels to suit many applications. These applications include chemical storage, water filtration, surge vessels, process vessels, LPG and vessels used in power generation.

The introduction of Biofuels has dramatically increased the incidence of microbial build up in underground storage tanks. This is largely due to the water content in these fuels collecting at the bottom of tanks providing a perfect environment for the bacteria to grow. The result is blocked filters and potentially fuel that is not within specification. Regular tank cleaning and special treatments can be used to minimize the problem, but these are all significant recurring costs, and can lead to the tanks being out of commission for significant periods.
