CDE - High Capacitance and Ultra-Low ESR

The Types 300 and 301 are the wide-temperature, low-ESR capacitors for power-supply outputs and UPS battery stiffening. The exceptionally low ESRs enable high ripple-current capability. With series inductance of 12 to 16 nH and ripple currents to 16 amps one of these capacitors can save by replacing three or four of the 12.5 mm diameter capacitors routinely at the output of switching power supplies. Type 300 has three leads for rugged, reverse-proof mounting, and Type 301 has two leads. Types 300R and 301R deliver even lower ESR and higher ripple.

CDE - –55 °C to 105 °C Low-ESR, Wide-Temperature Grade

The Type 101C is the wide-temperature, low voltage version of the Type 550C. It is ideal for high-ripple current military and industrial applications that need full performance to –40 ºC and solid performance to –55 ºC. It also excels as a power-supply output capacitor because of its exceptionally low ESR. The extended cathode foil of the 101C assures heat flow from the capacitor element to the can in all mounting orientations

Type 953B radial leaded metallized polypropyene capacitors are designed for UPS systems and other AC output filtering applications. With an integrated fused metallization pattern, this product features UL 810 recognition for fail-safe operation at temperatures up to 85 ºC while meeting THB 85 ºC / 85% RH testing at rated voltage for challenging harsh environments.

Rated for 105°C, type HZA combines the advantages of aluminum electrolytic and aluminum polymer technology. These hybrid capacitors have the ultra-low ESR characteristics of conductive aluminum polymer capacitors packaged in a V-chip, SMT case with high capacitance and voltage ratings.
