The Petroleum Expeditionary Analysis Kit (PEAK) serves as a comprehensive mobile laboratory designed for the analysis of aviation kerosene. Packaged in durable, waterproof cases, the kit is compliant with the ATPD-2424A standard. Its equipment is engineered to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C, with rigorous testing and certification conducted by Southwest Research ensuring its performance under these conditions. The PEAK kit is available in two configurations: a single-case version for the USMC, which includes the CCCFP Flash Point test, and a two-case version for the U.S. Army. Each case contains specialized equipment, such as the JF-1A-ST Handheld Conductivity Stick and Anton Paar DMA 35 Density Meter, tailored for conducting precise measurements and analyses in field conditions.
