The new PTC hose heater has its name from the self-regulating PTC heating element. Its heating chamber is designed to be used with hose connectors in different dimensions and angles that can be replaced depending on engine and vehicle models. This makes the PTC heater easy to install in a wide range of vehicles. The PTC technology ensures that power is reduced when the coolant reaches its target temperature increase. The PTC element and electronics is placed in a ”dry zone” separated from the engine coolant. This heater is normally installed in the oil cooler hose or heater hose and may be used with or without a pump. It has a built-in internal over-temperature fuse with an automatic reset function. Replaceable hose connections in 180(x2), 135 and 90-degree angles are included with the heater.

Heaters in the 100 series can only be installed in vehicles with cast iron engine blocks. It`s designed for engines with a small coolant tank.
