Dekoron Unitherm - Self-Regulating Electric Traced Tubing
Dekoron-Unitherm - Heated Hose
DEKORON/Unitherm heated hoses feature smooth and convoluted bores in stainless steel and Fluoropolymer cores, which are electrically heated for operation to 625ºF (329ºC). The hoses are flexible and can be operated in continuous movement conditions. The heating element is nickel alloy wire; spiral wound to extremely close tolerances, providing optimum temperature uniformity throughout the entire length. The heating element is insulated within multiple layers of high temperature insulation. Two thickness of thermal insulation are available with tough, extruded DSJM jacket for outdoor service or an abrasion resistant, braided polyester sleeve for indoor use. All hoses are supplied electrically and hydraulically complete, ready to use.
Dekoron/Unitherm - High Temperature Heater
High temperature mineral insulated bundles are designed for direct heater contact with process tubes operating between 250°F and 1,100°F continuous service. MI constructions do not require buffering of the heater but are made to specific length and can’t we trimmed in the field. In a effort to reduce cost and lead-times associated with MI DEKORON®/Unitherm™ developed a carrier tube design which allows for bulk manufacture of the bundle which is cut in the field and matched up with standardized lengths of mineral insulated heater.
Pre-Insulated & Steam Trace
Dekoron Unitherm - Pre-Insulated Tubing
DEKORON/Unitherm Series 2200 pre-insulated tubing is a thermally insulated transport line suitable for steam, gas or liquid transport. The energy-efficient design meets OSHA personnel protection requirements by limiting the jacket surface temperatures to 140ºF (60ºC) or lower at 80ºF (26ºC) ambient conditions, while transporting 400ºF (204ºC) saturated steam. 2200 series pre-insulated is used extensively in refinery and petrochemical applications to connect pipe and vessel steam tracing to steam supply manifolds. In addition, 2200 pre-insulated provides long term energy savings when used to return condensate back to the boiler. Unlike field insulated systems which are extremely difficult to seal, 2200 pre-insulted utilizes a continuous extruded polymer jacket to prevent moisture egress which is the primary cause of insulation failure.
Dekoron Unitherm - Steam Traced Tubing
Dekoron/Unitherm Models 2201 through 2204 steam traced tubing bundles are designed to maintain fluid temperature or viscosity in process lines using saturated steam. These products contain single or multiple metal or polymer process tubes and a metal steam tracer tube covered with a heat reflecting foil, moisture resistant, non-wicking, inorganic fibrous glass thermal insulation and a seamless weather protective outer jacket. The tubes are cabled to provide solid contact and consistent heat transfer throughout the bundle length. The cabled tubes are easily bent in any direction. There is no need to twist the bundle to make a bend, a necessity with parallel-tube bundles. The compact, energy efficient design keeps the outer jacket at or below 140°F (60°C) while transporting fluids at temperatures up to 400°F (204°C).
Dekoron Unitherm - High Temperature Pre-Insulated Tubing
DEKORON/Unitherm Series 2210 pre-insulated tubing is a thermally insulated transportation line suitable for high temperature steam, gas or liquid transport. The bundles are designed to maintain an average outer jacket temperature below 170ºF (77ºC) at continuous operating temperatures up to 1100ºF (593ºC). Please note that tubing sizes and materials are limited in design for applications above 700ºF. The 2210 series is used extensively in refinery, petrochemical and combined cycle power generation. Unlike field insulated systems which are extremely difficult to seal, 2210 pre-insulted utilizes a continuous extruded polymer jacket to prevent moisture egress which is the primary cause of insulation failure.
