DER Grid Inverter Testing

DERlab has comprehensive expertise in testing the functional behavior of grid inverters according to several national and international specifications. The devices under test can be connected to LV or MV networks and may vary within a broad power range: small scale under 1 kW; medium scale; and large scale over several MW.

PV Module Performance Tests

The energy yields of the modules are measured according to DERlab technical guidelines on long-term photovoltaic outdoor tests. The customer will be provided with the measured data and can opt for the additional evaluation service. DERlab technical guidelines describe the testing procedures as well as requirements for location and measurement equipment. The guidelines are available on the DERlab website.

Consulting Services

DERlab builds a bridge between high level research and the needs of industry. DERlab takes advantage of the comprehensive knowledge of the network on different technologies and both international and local regulations as well as networking capabilities. External actors, such as companies or institutions, can approach DERlab with an inquiry of consultation. DERlab connects the interested actor with the network of members.
