Discover's MIXTECH EMX premium flooded starting batteries are designed for automotive applications, leveraging patented MIXTECH technology. The MIXTECH technology utilizes the natural movement of the vehicle to maintain constant circulation of the battery acid, effectively combatting acid stratification, which is the primary cause of premature performance degradation and battery failure. Acid stratification leads to excessive corrosion and charge imbalance by causing the heavier acid to settle at the bottom of the battery. MIXTECH technology resolves this by continuously mixing the electrolyte, thereby ensuring 100% homogeneous specific gravity at double the efficiency and in less than half the time compared to traditional pump action mixing methods.
