PE80 natural gas pipes are used in the 4 bar pressurized regions of the natural gas lines. The natural has lines consist of 20 bar steel pipe, 4 bar intermediary line and 0.4 bar indoor lines. The polyethylene pipes with the composite structure in the 20 bar regions are started to be used for trial purposes. Its usage will become widespread after the standards are developed. The studies on the indoor composite pipes which will not affect from the fire are still going on.

Geothermal pipes are three layered. It is composed of carrier pipe inside, polyurethane layer(PUR) in the middle as isolation material and Polyethylene (PE) pipe on he external as preventive casing. The carrier pipe material can be different according to the usage temperatures. Polyprohylene Random (PPR) pipe is used at 70 °C and under, steel pipe is used at 140 °C and under. By the technical and cost advantages it has abolished the disadvantages of the glass fiber isolation pipes.
