e-peas - Dual Source Energy Harvesting IC Solution
e-peas’ dual source energy harvesting IC solution AEM13920 is a versatile dual energy source input PMIC combining: very high efficiency MPP conversion from two independent harvester sources, flexible harvester combinations (among TEG, RF, Pulse, Photovoltaic), power flow measurement to and from storage element, dual configuration mode (GPIO and I2C) and 5 V direct storage charger. This innovative architecture allows to harvest more energy from ambient space for demanding applications like wearable electronics, ESL, keyboards, RCU and smart complex sensors. The source boost converter cold starts from 275m V / 5 µW input making AEM13920 ideal for a wide range of energy harvesting sources. The application output regulator is programmable in a range of 0.6 V to 2.5 V.
